Introducing … Wii.
As in “we.”
While the code-name “Revolution” expressed our direction, Wii represents the answer.
Wii will break down that wall that separates video game players from everybody else.
Wii will put people more in touch with their games … and each other. But you’re probably asking: What does the name mean?
Wii sounds like “we,” which emphasizes this console is for everyone.
Wii can easily be remembered by people around the world, no matter what language they speak. No confusion. No need to abbreviate. Just Wii.
Wii has a distinctive “ii” spelling that symbolizes both the unique controllers and the image of people gathering to play.
And Wii, as a name and a console, brings something revolutionary to the world of video games that sets it apart from the crowd.
So that’s Wii. But now Nintendo needs you.
Because, it’s really not about you or me.
It’s about Wii.
And together, Wii will change everything.
This, is the new name of the Nintendo Revolution… Nintendo is dead, long live Nintendo!

Sony launched the new 2.70 firmware for the PSP, adding Flash and AAC support as well as a new option to save audio files from the subscribed RSS feeds. Great, but this was known since Sony’s last press conference where 3 firmwares were announced for this year. The best feature of this firmware isn’t Flash or AAC support, the best part of the 2.70 is to let us run game demos from the Memory Stick, like the LocoRoco demo, which, by the way, is probably one of the best PSP games of 2006. The PSP is a great machine, it’s a shame that Sony is killing it with slow firmware releases, crappy upgrades, shity UMD prices and a mountain of remakes. Still, I’ve been enjoying some great games on my PSP. Socom FTB is addictive, probably the best online game for the PSP and Street Fighter Alpha Max is a must for Street Fighter Fanboys.
The PSP Lives!

If you are a gamer in your late 20’s, for just 7€ you can get a package of joy and an hefty dose of nostalgia. I found out that a high resolution of Another World (Windows only) was created by Magic Productions.
Now localized for English, Another World was one of the best games of the 90’s and one of my all time favorites. The game plays like an interactive sci-fi movie, with a huge dose of playability and fun. There are excelent gameplay elements in Another World that I am yet to see on modern games.
If you’re an “old time gamer” like me, buy it. It’s a great update to an eternal classic. If you are a “Playstation Generation gamer” buy it too. You won’t be dissapointed.
