Okay, I had to post this. I’m reading Dan Brown’s Digital Fortress<\/a> (the portuguese edition), and I’m on a page where, under attack<\/strong>, the NSA<\/a><\/strong> computer security system is described having 5 levels of protection, and I quote: <\/p>\n

“- We have five levels of protection<\/strong> – explained Jabba. – One primary Bastion Host<\/a>*, two sets of FTP<\/a>NT filters** and X-Eleven<\/a>***, one blocking tunnel and, finnaly, a PEM<\/a>**** authorization window copyed from Project Truffle.”<\/p>\n

Now that you know that FTP and X11 and PEM are protection levels<\/strong> for the friggin NSA comes the best part! The Editor’s notes:<\/p>\n

* In a system connected to the global network, it’s the only pc that it’s possible to connect from the exterior, being in charge of managing the accesses.<\/p>\n

** – File Transfer Protocol (then translates to portuguese correctly)<\/p>\n

*** – More correctly X11. It’s a Windows Operating System from Macintosh<\/strong><\/p>\n

**** – Privacy Enhanced Electronic Mail (then translates to portuguese correctly)<\/p>\n
