The Virtual Console concept has made it’s debut on the new-gen consoles. PS3, Wii, 360, all have proven that VC brings additional value to gamers. It’s great to play a perfect port of Super Mario Bros on the Wii or Tekken 3 on the PSP (although you still need a PS3 :(), but wouldn’t it be even great to have a VC for the Nintendo DS? Nintendo could release a memory cart for the DS and allow NES and SNES (and N64 who knows) games to be downloaded so we could play them on the go. Sony announced games from SNK, PC Engine and Megadrive (Genesis for the USA readers) to be played on the PS3, but I would kill (not really) for a VC version of Sonic or PC Kid on the PSP.<\/p>\n
My point: Virtual Consoles are great, but it can be ever better on portable consoles. Think about it Sony and Nintendo!<\/p>\n
