I can&#8217;t compare it to the book but I didn&#8217;t enjoy the movie. The story is stupid, the characters lack personality (some have split personality but that&#8217;s not what I mean) and the British humor is too dense, only 50% of the gags are funny or intelligent. The effects and eye candy are great but that&#8217;s it, I&#8217;m not even feeling compelled to read the book&#8230; at least they could have explained the <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Towel#Hitchhiker.27s_Guide_to_the_Galaxy\">Towel thing<\/a>!<\/p>\n<p>[tags]The Hitchhiker&#8217;s Guide to the Galaxy, Douglas Adams, Movies[\/tags]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I watched The Hitchhiker&#8217;s Guide to the Galaxy this Sunday.
