The Super Nintendo (or SNES for the fan boys out there) celebrates this year it’s 15th birthday.
This console is, IMHO, one of the most important consoles in the Nintendo history, not only it marks the 16 bit gaming era but also an entire generation of gamers. I know people who bought this console with the Super Mario All Stars cartridge and never bought any other game (and were quite satisfied with that), proving that a single title (well actually 4) and a great console can fill ones gaming needs.
Anyway, the SNES has it’s own history and 1UP has a very nice piece on the 15th birthday. Enjoy!
