Google launched Google Reader today. Still in beta (as most Google “products” are), Google Reader is a web based RSS reader that integrates with GMail. The interface is “GMail like” and it uses Ajax too. We can see a pattern here. The keyword here is UNIFICATION. Notice that Google is starting to use a single login for most of their services (Orkut, Gmail and now Google Reader).
As for me I don’t think I’ll use it in my daily routine, I usually have a PC with me (RSS reader included), but it might be handy in weekends off.
