[tag]Gaim[/tag] developers posted a news update. Looks like version 2.0.0 will be [tag]Google[/tag] Talk compatible, including voice and it will support a few other protocols.

I am sure this was Google’s response to Microsoft’s and Yahoo! partnership on IM services. I wonder what the outcome will be? I currently use GoogleTalk only to keep track of my Gmail account, but I am willing to give it a shot as an IM client if it blows AIM, Yahoo, and Microsoft out of the water.
