While [tag]Sony[/tag] doesn’t update the firmware to read text [tag]RSS[/tag] feeds, you can use [tag]MioMediaBox[/tag] for [tag]PSP[/tag]. This app allows you to subscribe text RSS feeds and then render the feeds to .jpg files. allowing you to read them in the PSP photo viewer. The app is freeware and only for PC.

With the latest firmware (2.60) the [tag]PSP[/tag] can read [tag]RSS[/tag] feeds, but it’s limited to audio feeds (aka [tag]Podcasts[/tag]).
