Mugshot on Ubuntu
Easy steps to install Mugshot on Ubuntu, it will save you a lot of searching and segfaults with all the other deb packages arround.
1. In your home directory: wget http://www.nighton.net/nighton_key.asc
2. Open Synaptic Click on Settings, Repositories, and then click on the Authentication tab.
3. Click Import Key File. Select nighton_key.asc
and click Ok.
4. Click on the Installation Media tab and click Add.
5. Click Custom.
6. Type the following into the Apt Line field: deb http://www.nighton.net/ dapper main
7. Click Add Channel.
8. Click Close.
9. Click Reload.

Thanks – I installed last night, and it works perfectly – just had to follow the instructions at the Ubuntu forums to get flash working without crashing Firefox.
When will Mugshot work with Rhythmbox, Banshee, and AmaroK? All of the current supported programs are closed-source.
Mugshot supports Rhythmbox. I guess somebody is working on Banshee and Muine, hey it’s open source, maybe you like to do it… 😀
